2022 – 2023: BALLISTIC BANANA (POWERPLAY)

This is the Ballistic Banana, our competition robot for the 2023 – 2024 season. The Ballistic Banana includes a 3D printed pulley mount and slide mount, while also consisting of belted slides, dual motor lift mechanism, and belt clamping tensioning system.

2021 – 2022: MULE (FREIGHT FRENZY)

We use this robot primarily for outreach events. We let kids drive this robot at outreach events. With its mecanum wheel drive train and simple arm mechanism, it never fails to entertain people and is the perfect robot to introduce people to robotics and our team!

2021 – 2022: OFF SEASON ROBOT (FREIGHT FRENZY)

Meet our off-season robot for Freight Frenzy! This robot consists of a rotating turret, linkage for slides extension, intelligent LED lights, controllable wrist for intake using control cables and a servo, a duck spinner, multiple sensors, and odometry.

This robot was a fun off-season project that allowed our team to learn how to CAD, use odometry, and how to make a fast/consistent robot using slides and turret.

2021 – 2022: STINGER (FREIGHT FRENZY)

Meet Stinger, our competition robot for the 2021 – 2022 FTC season! This robot has went through multiple iterations for it to reach the state that it is in now. Stinger contains of mecanum wheels, vertical motor chassis, virtual 4 bar arm, duck spinner, pass-through intake-outtake system, multiple sensors, creating an amazing robot all together!

We are proud to say that it has served us very well, making us one of the highest ranked teams in Virginia!

2021 – 2022: 2ND ITERATION (FREIGHT FRENZY)

To this iteration, we added an intake box with chain driving surgical tubes and a duck spinner.

2021 – 2022: 1ST ITERATION (FREIGHT FRENZY)

To this iteration, we added a chain drive for intake spinner and used vertical motors to reduce the amount of space.

2021 – 2022: PROTOTYPE (FREIGHT FRENZY)

This was the prototype of chassis and four bar linkage arm.
